Edinburgh: it's a city famous across the world for its history, its culture, and its landmarks. Thousands of tourists come to Edinburgh to walk the cobbled streets, to soak up the Gothic architecture, and of course to visit the city's wonderful museums. The new Museum of Scotland building opened in 1998 adjacent to the older Royal Scottish Museum. Together, the two buildings became the National Museum of Scotland, with collections covering a huge range of history, science, art, and culture. Probably the most famous exhibit is the stuffed body of Dolly the Sheep, the world's first cloned animal.

This design shows the new Museum of Scotland building, coated in red evening light under a dark and cloudy sky. One of the most striking and iconic structures in Edinburgh, the building is made up of geometric shapes in the modernist style of the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier. And across the street, in the foreground, is the famous statue of Greyfriars Bobby, the loyal Skye Terrier who sat by his master's grave for fourteen long years. Edinburgh has captured the hearts of many, and the National Museum is one of its most popular attractions. Why not indulge your love of the city with this beautiful tea towel?

Half Panama organic bleached cotton (heavy weight, textured finish). Stitched on all four sides. Includes hanging loop. Measures approximately 48cm x 70cm. Machine wash at 40 degrees max. We recommend that before you use your tea towel for the first time you wash it at least once to soften up the material and make it more absorbent for drying dishes. Please note size can vary slightly.
