The Isle of Skye: jagged coastlines, hanging cliffs, and hillsides blooming with heather. The second largest island in Scotland, Skye contains the full set of idiosyncratic Scottish treasures, from lochs nestled among the mountains to waterfalls tumbling over rocky outcrops. These landscapes are not for the faint-hearted!

But, hands down, one particular geological feature takes the cake: The Old Man of Storr. No doubt one of Scotland's most iconic scenes, this pinnacle of sheer rock juts out of the hilltop like a tooth. Legend has it that an old giant was buried here on The Storr, but his thumb remained sticking out of the earth. But the science behind it is just as exciting. Formed by an ancient landslide, the weathered tower is made of igneous rock: in other words, solidified lava!

This design showcases the magnificent and fearsome powers of our ever-changing planet. Behind Storr, Skye's rugged landscape stretches into the sun-lit distance. And to the left, a white-tailed eagle: the largest bird of prey in Britain, a familiar sight hanging over the battered cliffs of Skye. Go on: give your home a dash of the Scottish sublime with this tea towel!

Half Panama organic bleached cotton (heavy weight, textured finish). Stitched on all four sides. Includes hanging loop. Measures approximately 48cm x 70cm. Machine wash at 40 degrees max. We recommend that before you use your tea towel for the first time you wash it at least once to soften up the material and make it more absorbent for drying dishes. Please note size can vary slightly.
