Oxford is beautiful all year round. Its colleges, its rivers and its churches are all enhanced by the deep brown of the Headington limestone which unifies the centre of the city. This design brings a glimpse of that beauty to your home by showcasing the college spires that surround the iconic Bodleian library. The library, one of Europe’s oldest, is a hub for students and visitors alike, epitomising the coming together of both knowledge and beauty, as with much of the old city.

Whilst this stunning design offers a taste of those deep autumnal colours, Matthew Arnold’s Thyrsis surely provides the words to go with it…

This winter-eve is warm,

Humid the air! leafless, yet soft as spring,

The tender purple spray on copse and briers!

And that sweet city with her dreaming spires,

She needs not June for beauty's heightening,’

Half Panama unbleached cotton (heavy weight, textured finish). Stitched on all four sides. Includes hanging loop. Measures approximately 48cm x 70cm. Machine wash at 40 degrees max. We recommend that before you use your tea towel for the first time you wash it at least once to soften up the material and make it more absorbent for drying dishes. Please note size can vary slightly.

Vibrantly coloured, it's a beautiful and robust tea towel, suitable as artwork in itself, and also for drying dishes!
