Ahh, Morecambe - a birdwatcher's paradise, a sunbather's dream, and a classic British seaside destination. With origins in the 1840s as an important harbour and port, Morecambe became a busy holiday resort in the 20th century, mostly attracting visitors from Yorkshire and Scotland. For several years, it was even the home of the Miss Great Britain contest!

Among the most famous landmarks in Morecambe is the Midland Hotel. Built in 1933, this Art Deco building is an architectural gem. Its white concrete facade curves gracefully along the seafront, hosting stunning views across the bay. With its sweeping horizontal lines and rounded edges, it's a classic example of the Streamline Moderne style - all the rage in 1930s Europe.

This design shows the Hotel's iconic facade. Seagulls jostle in the sky, a plane flies overhead, and a woman with a red umbrella walks up the hotel's steps - an idyllic scene to enjoy as you dry the dishes!

Half Panama organic bleached cotton (heavy weight, textured finish). Stitched on all four sides. Includes hanging loop. Measures approximately 48cm x 70cm. Machine wash at 40 degrees max. We recommend that before you use your tea towel for the first time you wash it at least once to soften up the material and make it more absorbent for drying dishes. Please note size can vary slightly.
