What is a city without its landmarks? Cardiff in particular is the political, and to some extent cultural home of Wales and it certainly has the landmarks to match. From the impressive Edwardian local government buildings, the slick modern Senedd building which houses the Welsh Assembly, or the Pierhead Building - ‘baby Big Ben’ - uniting the city’s history with its new political reach.
Yet Cardiff is a city that houses more than just the beating heart of Welsh politics.
This design highlights those landmarks that make Cardiff such a great place to visit or live. The mighty Principality Stadium, for instance, has seen some of the biggest events in Welsh and European sports since its opening. Or the Scott Memorial in Roath Park, which commemorates the ill-fated Antarctic expeditions of the Terra Nova.
Whilst this tea towel can only exhibit some of Cardiff’s great landmarks, it will surely provide a flurry of memories to anyone who has visited the great Welsh capital.
